ADITIZOL BASIC
The certified construction product – a mineral compound with thermal insulation and protective properties – is designed for thermal insulation and protection of metal, plastic and other construction surfaces. It acts as a vapour barrier. It is suitable for use in both industry and construction.
The use of ADITIZOL BASIC in the exterior and interior of buildings allows to preserve the original volume of space, without increasing the load on the construction structures, reducing the cost and time for construction work.
Thermal insulation and protective properties have been demonstrated by the Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague, SOE and the Czech Technical University in Prague.
IN THE INDUSTRY:
ADITIZOL BASIC is suitable for insulation of hot and cold-water piping, utility fittings, boilers, product pipelines, heat exchangers, telecommunications cabinets, air conditioning and air handling systems, industrial equipment for various purposes, as well as specific products and structures, containers, etc. It is applied both outdoors and indoors.
Examples of possible uses:
- to reduce heat loss in less accessible places and complex structural elements – fittings, etc.
- to reduce surface temperature to ensure safe working – below 50°C
- to protect from direct sunlight.
IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY :
ADITIZOL BASIC is suitable for the insulation of metal roofs and other surfaces that need to be insulated and protected from undesirable external influences. It is stable, highly adhesive to non-surface corrosion metals and building materials. It is applied to the external and internal surfaces of building structures (ADITIZOL OPEN is applied on facades).
Examples of possible uses:
- to reduce the overheating of the shell metal buildings, ceilings and roofs
- to prevent the formation of surface condensation of water vapour on the walls and the subsequent possible mould formation, to solve thermal bridges
- to reduce wall freezing
- to reduce heat loss and protect buildings and structures
Features and benefits:
- health and hygienic safety allow its use in exterior and interior and is also suitable for indirect contact with food (certificate of the National Institute of Public Health)
- is highly resistant to weathering and ageing
- practically does not burden the load-bearing structures and prevents sudden thermal deformations
- does not promote combustion
- reduces the cost and time of construction work
- is environmentally friendly, dilutable with water and free of harmful volatiles substances
- creates a solid protective and thermal insulating layer on the surface of any structure
- effectively contributes to the solution of undesirable hygienic defects in the form of condensation and mould formation even in difficult indoor environments.
- significantly resists atmospheric influences, especially acid rain and UV radiation, bridges even small cracks of less stable substrates, having permanent properties, being renewable
- in the event of a breach in the insulation, the repair is simple and quick, without the need for dismantling and interruption of operation (the damaged area is simply repainted)
- it is stable and adheres with a continuous seamless membrane to any surface, including fittings and other components or devices, and provides a very effective thermal barrier.
ADITIZOL BASIC reflects over 90% of the solar radiation, depending on the colour and texture of the surface. It can be directly tinted to the desired colour shade or water-based paint can be applied.
Application with a spray device (airless), special roller, stretching or brush. For more information, please contact us at info@aditizol.cz
